Grape pulp and seeds may be waste products in the wine industry, but to Endang Sri Astuti and her husband Moedayat Yanto, they are a valuable commodity. Grape skin and seeds are high in polyphenols powerful antioxidants that scientists believe are beneficial to health and may even reduce the risk of cancer. The couple, engineers by profession, stumbled upon the benefits when they started a simple grape juice business last year. The two then quit their jobs to expand their grape product business.
