LAKE COUNTY – The Lake County Winery Association recently welcomed three new members, making the young association 37 members strong.A total of 27 wineries and 11 associate members support the group’s mission to promote – both locally and globally – Lake County, California, as a producer of premium, high elevation wines and as a popular travel destination for individuals seeking something different and adventurous.
Boasting a growing number of vineyard acres, now up to more than 8,800 throughout the county, the area’s pristine climate, soils, clean air, and upper elevation grape growing opportunities continue to attract wine grape growers and winemakers.
