Dec 3, 2014 6The display of the number of calories on bottles of alcohol would be beneficial in the fight against obesity, according to a British study.

DISPLAY. Around 10% of calories ingested by an adult come from his drinking, sets the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) in a recent report. But consumers are often unaware. For now, alcoholic beverages are exempted display the calories.
According to the Daily Mail, the Commission should validate or not this request in December 2014.
A glass of piña colada is equivalent to a cheeseburger
MICRO-SIDEWALK. How many people know the caloric value of a drink? The RSPH interviewed passers-by in the streets of London. Most considers a chocolate donut is a calorie vodka, then they are equivalent in terms of calories. In general, according to RSPH, three quarters of respondents do not know the caloric value of a glass of wine, beer or cocktail.
In fact, a unit of alcohol contains 56 calories. Thus, a glass of piña colada equals ... a cheeseburger (450 calories)! Must be one and a half bike to eliminate it. A glass of white wine is a slice of pizza (180 calories) and a pint of lager is 170 calories, a slice of cake with chocolate or 90 small strawberries.
