Officials Confirm Grapevine Moth In Sonoma County

6
SANTA ROSA, CA (AP) ― Sonoma County agriculture officials say additional land in the state's premier wine region will likely be added to a quarantine area after more European grapevine moths were found.Agricultural Commissioner Cathy Neville said Thursday the confirmation that three moths found near Calistoga were grapevine moths means that about 1,000 acres of Sonoma County farmland will likely be added to the 162 square miles of land already under quarantine. Most of the current quarantine covers land in neighboring Napa County.
