Italy: World's Most Precious Wine Stopper Made in Vicenza
Apr 27, 2014 6(IM) - The most precious wine cork in the world is valued at 40,000 euros and was designed and made in Vicenza.
The company Labrenta, which has been producing wine stoppers for more than 40 years, and jewelers Peroni & Parise joined hands to produce a cap made of gold and 569 diamonds. It measures 7.30 carats and weighs 250 grams.
It was specially designed to top favorite bottles.
For a cheaper option, a silver and diamonds version has also been produced.
