(TheAustralian) - Have you spotted the logo? Let us knowSIX weeks after the gala launch of South Australia's new state brand, it is barely on the map.
The $1.3 million logo - featuring SA as a doorway in an origami-like Australia - does not appear on the home pages of major state government websites including Tourism, Trade, Further Education, Primary Industries or the Economic Development Board responsible for the brand.
While it features on Premier Jay Weatherill's Department of Premier and Cabinet site, the design by branding expert Ken Cato, is absent from the home pages of the Premier's other portfolios of Treasury and the Arts SA site. The only other agency with it is Defence SA.
At the brand's launch last month, Mr Weatherill said its success would depend on how industry and the public embraced it, saying: "The success of this brand will lie in its uptake."
