(AtlanticFarmFocus) - The federal government has invested in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island’s dairy, wine, and microbrewery sectors. "These projects will help the provinces' dairy, wine, and brewery sectors find new markets through innovation and help make our producers more profitable," Tobique-Mactaquac MP Mike Allen said in Fredericton March 22 at the NB Agricultural Council's annual meeting.

Milk 2020 will receive over $100,000 from the Canadian Agricultural Adaptation Program (CAAP) to undertake a market research study to identify bioproducts, functional foods, and milk ingredients that could help NB and PEI producers capitalize on a growing demand for new health-orientated milk products.
