(NYDailyNews) - Prince Kamran Abbas-Vahid claims Charles Moreau swindled $500,000 from their company Lions Wines to pay for daugther's daycare, cable bills, clothing and Financial District rent. An Iranian prince says he was royally shafted by his business partner in a New York wine company.
In papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, Persian prince Kamran Abbas-Vahid says Charles Moreau tapped money from their company Lions Wines company to pay for the rent on his Financial District apartment, his clothing, his cable bills and even the tuition for his daughter's daycare — pratically anything but their business.
Moreau also used company merchandise — thousands of dollars worth of wine — as "barter" to collect free meals at high-end restaurants like Cipriani Downtown and Georgica in East Hampton.
