(ThisisMoney) - Drinks giant Diageo has the maker of Jim Beam in its sights – with a particular interest in the Maker’s Mark brand of premium Kentucky bourbon whisky.
The company, which owns Guinness, Smirnoff and Baileys, is thought to be interested in a number of brands owned by US-based Beam.
Maker’s Mark is a long-standing target of Diageo chief executive Paul Walsh.
