(NapaValleyRegister) - This is the time of year for giving, so I would like to give thanks to Napa Valley Vintners for being so generous to local agencies like ours that depend on private donations to make health services available to some of our most deserving families.
Children’s Health Initiative is a not-for-profit corporation that locates and enrolls children from low-income families in subsidized health insurance, and teaches these families how to effectively and properly use this health insurance.
Napa Children’s Health Initiative also works closely with 37 other local agencies in expanding this enrollment system countywide, to create a “no wrong door” system. Since its inception in 2005, Children’s Health Initiative has enrolled more than 11,000 uninsured children in comprehensive low cost insurance.
