(BizJournals) - The opposition party wants Ontario to allow the sales of beer and wine in convenience stores, but Premier Dalton McGuinty is rejecting the idea.
Conservatives say consumers and the economy would benefit from a wider range of outlets for beer and wine, according to the Toronto Star.
But McGuinty, the leader of the Liberal government, says the province is a safer place because the Liquor Control Board of Ontario is in charge.
