(EconomicTimes) - The Indian Grape Processing Board (IGPB) is trying to bring a separate legislation for wine so as to create an indigenous identity for Indian wines. Currently wine is governed by the legislation for general alcoholic beverages. "A separate legislation for wine is very necessary. It will help adopt international standards and develop Indian wine brand," said Jagdish Holkar, chairman, IGPB.
