US: Wine, grapes generate hundreds of millions in economic activity in Ohio

(ZanesvilleTimesRecorder) - A study commissioned by the Ohio Wine Industries Commission, the Ohio Department of Agriculture's branch that oversees the industry, touts the industry as being a strong contributor to the economy.
However, statistics on individual counties are not available, according to the Ohio Department of Agriculture, MFK Research LLC, which compiled the 2008 study, the Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Liquor Control and the Ohio Wine Producers Association.
