(NorwayPost) - Last year, Norwegians consumed 5.6 per cent more wine than the previous year. Meanwhile the overture of beer fell by one per cent, according to Statistics Norway.
Registered turnover of spirits showed an increase of of 2.1 per cent. The turnover of alcopops increased by 3.2 per cent from 2010 to 2011.
In 2011, the total turnover equivalent of pure alcohol was 6.62 litres per capita for 15 years of age and over. This is a decrease of 0.03 litres or 0.5 per cent compared to 2010.
