(DrinksInt) - The general assembly of the of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV, has announced the election of Claudia Inés Quini, deputy head of research at the National Institute for Vitiviniculture of Argentina (INV), as its incoming president.
Quini has been elected president of the OIV for a three-year term and takes over from Yves Bénard of France.
Some of the key issues to be addressed during her mandate will be future trends in the wine market and the enlargement of the organisation towards Asia and the Americas, according to the OIV.
