(DBR) - The Dallas City Council committee has come up with new rules that allows opening of microbreweries, wineries and distilleries in the area.
Dallas councilman Jerry Allen told NBCDFW that there is a lot of red tape, and that's why they are moving the ball forward, to try to make sure they protect the integrity of the community, but at the same time take away that red tape.
The request for the changes in rules came from Four Corners Brewing, which is to open on Singleton Boulevard at the base of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge by Labor Day weekend.
