(Stuff) - American billionaire Bill Foley continues to ramp up his New Zealand wine business, with news of another prospective winery acquisition and possible listing. Foley, who owns Wairarapa luxury lodge Wharekauhau, is in merger talks with the listed New Zealand Wine Company, a statement to the NZX said today. Foley Family Wines New Zealand's chief executive Mark Turnbull said the move was consistent with what Foley's desire to have a listed company in New Zealand, ''and this is a really key step along that road''.
