(CentralPennBusiness) - The state House Liquor Control Committee on Wednesday passed a bill that would allow out-of-state wineries to acquire direct shipping licenses to sell their wine to Pennsylvania residents 21 or older.
The legislation — House Bill 845 — would permit direct shipping of up to 12 bottles per month per person. The one-time cost of the license is $100, according to the language of the bill, which now goes to the full House.
