(CRIEnglish) - Crisis-hit Italy will invest more in quality wine industry, a young entrepreneur who has been named by President Giorgio Napolitano as an "ambassador" of made-in-Italy in the world told Xinhua.
"Italy's wine industry has a long tradition, but it has not been able to adequately promote itself abroad," 18-year-old Paolo Battistella said in a recent interview.
Battistella's company was founded by his grandparent some 60 years ago in northern Veneto region.
Specialized in Prosecco sparkling white wines, the brand is one of the typical family businesses that constitute the backbone of the Italian economy.
