62 percent of Americans Buy Wine: Study

(ProgressiveGrocer) - Most Americans buy and drink wine — only 38 percent say they never buy a bottle of wine, according to a recent survey by The Harris Poll. And, 48 percent of U.S. adults over 21 say they drink wine several times a month, and 22 percent say they usually purchase four or more bottles of wine per month.
These are some of the results of The Harris Poll of 2,056 adults surveyed online between Feb. 6 and 13 by Harris Interactive.
