US: Kansas: Smoky Hill Winery sells at auction

(Saljournal) - The Smoky Hill Vineyards and Winery, 212 W. Golf Link, has been sold at auction. The online bidding finished Feb. 29 and the closing on the winery and adjoining tracts is scheduled in about two weeks, according to Curt Marshall, auctioneer and real estate agent for United Country-Theurer Auction/Realty, Wellington.
Marshall, who works in Salina, declined to disclose the buyers of the 8.73-acre winery property or the other three adjoining tracts near the corner of Old U.S. Highway 81 and Kansas Highway 143, but he did say there were three buyers for the four properties.
