(Drinksint) - Wine merchant Laithwaites Wine has concluded the purchase of Chateau du Bois, a vineyard near the village of Castillon in Bordeaux, France.
The business began life as a company called ‘Bordeaux Direct’ founded by Tony Laithwaite, selling wines from Cotes de Castillon directly to customers in the UK.
Henry Laithwaite, son of Tony and Barbara, will be taking charge of the property. He will work with Laithwaites wine director, Justin Howard-Sneyd MW on a development plan for the new vineyard.
