US: Wine & Whitney: Beverly Hills Wine Festival Adds Whitney Houston Tribute

(Laist) - In the wake of Whitney Houston's untimely death, the third annual Beverly Hills Wine Festival has modified its programming to include a very special tribute to the very special star.
"Remembering Whitney" will take place at the Beverly Hilton Sunday, February 26, from 2pm to 6pm. Numerous entertainment acts are lining up to honor Houston, including the 200-member Agape International Choir, Eddi Wakes, 17-piece jazz group The Fabulous Esquires Big Band and Estelle Brown of The Sweet Inspirations, a group founded by Houston's mother, Cissy Houston. An event organizer revealed that each performer ties into Houston's life somehow, and more acts will be added to the roster in the coming weeks. View the list as it grows here.
