Gallo, Constellation agree to settle lawsuit over fake pinot

(Pressdemocrat) - Think you can tell the difference between a tasty glass of pinot noir and other types of red wine? So did wine giants Constellation Brands and E&J Gallo, but apparently they were duped. So were consumers who bought some of the mislabeled wines, and they took their disappointment to court.
Gallo and Constellation agreed to settle the lawsuit in an agreement filed last month, setting aside nearly $2 million to reimburse consumers who bought the fake pinot.
