Ukraine starts delivering sparkling wine to China

(NRCU) - On New Year's Eve the Chinese market has received the first batch of Ukrainian sparkling wine trademarked Artemovsk Winery. This is the beginning of a contract concluded by the winemakers from Donetsk region with a Chinese importer. Last year, PJSC Artemovsk Winery entered the UK market, and this year - the Asian market. Under the contract, China will get from 50,000 to 100,000 bottles of sparkling wine produced by classical technology and aged 9 months to three years. Overall, the potential capacity of the plant, whose production sites are located in plaster galleries at a depth of 72 meters and take up to 25 hectares, stand at 25 million bottles a year.
