(FTAdviser) - A specialist investment firm has announced plans to beef up its IFA consultancy division to make room for an “influx” of IFAs into the company in 2013. Stacey Golding, co-founder and investments director of Premier Cru Fine Wine Investments, said the retail distribution review would create barriers for a number of “top-level” IFAs.
She said many of these advisers, particularly those nearing the end of their careers, may turn to advising on unregulated investment products, such as fine wine, in order to continue their careers in financial services.
