(Xinhua) -- Cuba inaugurated a three-day international wine festival here on Wednesday to boost the country's tourism industry.
The festival, which was held at the historic luxury Hotel Nacional de Cuba in the country's capital, attracted entrepreneurs, commercial representatives, department stores and beverage distributors from Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Cuba, Spain, France and Italy.
Cuba's tourism authorities said the event served as an exchange platform among wine producers, traders and sommeliers.
Prominent wine tasters from Spain's Bodegas Torres, a historical wine company, and the sparkling wine producer Freixenet also attended the festival.
