Kremlin encourages Russia to drink more wine

The Kremlin has dreamt up a novel way of battling Russia's destructive love affair with the vodka bottle: encouraging Russians to drink more wine instead. In the midst of the country's toughest anti-alcohol campaign since the 1991 fall of the Soviet Union, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has said he believes that encouraging people to switch to wine may make a difference.
