An extra couple of quid on a bottle of wine can take you from plonk to paradise. That doesn't make you a snob.I was accused this week of being a wine snob. Plus ça change – I'm the editor of Decanter magazine – so no, when trying to source decent wine, I generally don't linger around the supermarkets' under-£5 bargain bin. But does that make me elitist?
