Weekly wine defined: Grappa

This week’s wine term doesn’t have to do with wine itself, but it comes from grapes, which in my mind means I can define it as a wine term.
The word is: Grappa.
Actually, Grappa has close ties to wine because it’s made from the parts of the grapes and vines that are discarded in the wine-making process: seeds, stalks and stems. And, like wine, you drink it.
