US: Wine industry sees future in reused bottles

Pioneering wineries in San Diego County are going back to the future by reusing bottles and reducing their environmental footprint in hopes of appealing to an eco-conscious clientele.
Vinavanti Wines in San Marcos and Hacienda de las Rosas in Ramona are among the first in the state to sell their product in old bottles, which are collected and sterilized by a Sonoma company that’s trying to ride the emerging trend to statewide prominence.
