Ministers are planning to auction off vintage wines worth tens of thousands of pounds from the Governments cellars deep under Whitehall. The sales of the most expensive bottles from the Government Wine Cellar are likely to start later this year.
Over the past four years ministers have spent nearly on £400,000 on wine for cellar under Lancaster House, near Buckingham Palace in Westminster.
