US: Oregon wine region waiting to be discovered

Maybe it's climate change. Everywhere you look these days there seem to be new wineries popping up. Washington County, just west of Portland, Oregon is the latest region to register a big hit on the wine radar, and while the county lacks the sophistication of famous Napa Valley in California, that means far lower prices, fewer crowds and the excitement of exploring a new wine region before word has leaked out.
