US: Wine kiosks en route to some Walmart stores

Shoppers at some midstate Walmarts soon will be able to buy bottles of wine along with their toothpaste, T-shirts and motor oil.The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board has approved wine kiosks for 24 Walmarts throughout Pennsylvania, said Stacey Witalec, LCB spokeswoman. That will bring the number of wine kiosks in the state to 56, with more on the way.
“We believe these kiosks will add value to the shopping experience by providing another level of convenience at our stores,” said Jason Klipa, Walmart senior manager public affairs and government relations in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
