(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ascentia Wine Estates today announced it will consolidate production and expand grape sourcing for its Buena Vista wine brand. Buena Vista operations will be shifted to the Geyser Peak facility, another brand in the highly-rated Ascentia Wines portfolio. This decision will allow for a more efficient and streamlined production of Buena Vista wines. The transition will be completed within 45 to 60 days.
“Given that both Buena Vista and Geyser Peak have Sonoma County origins, consolidating our production of both brands is the smart business move for us,” said Mike Kenton, CEO of Ascentia Wines.
Additionally, in order to supplement the brand with additional varietals, Ascentia Wines will expand its grape sourcing for Buena Vista to all of Sonoma County. Previously, the brand was limited to vineyards in Carneros.
