Chile Concha y Toro to buy US winery " Fetzer Vineyards" for $238 million

(Reuters) - Chile's leading wine exporter Concha y Toro CHT.SN said on Tuesday it has agreed to buy U.S. wine producer Fetzer Vineyards from Brown Forman Corp (BFb.N) for $238 million.
In a regulatory filing, Concha y Toro said California-based Fetzer Vineyards was one of the 10 biggest U.S. wineries by volume and added it hoped to complete the purchase in April, pending regulatory approval.
"The Fetzer acquisition is the largest transaction of this type in the company's history," Eduardo Guilisasti, chief executive officer of Concha y Toro, said in a statement.
