A southern Indiana winery that's one of the state's oldest is being toasted by Indiana's wine industry for its excellence.
The Indiana Wine Grape Council recently presented Ted and Dana Huber with its Outstanding Merit Award for the fine wines produced by the family's Huber Orchard, Winery & Vineyard.
Council marketing director Jeannette Merritt says the winery in Starlight about 20 miles north of Louisville, Ky., has had a big impact on Indiana's wine industry and has collected nearly 1,000 gold, silver & bronze awards in U.S. wine competitions.
