South Australia's government is dithering on development protection for the Willunga basin where the key McLaren Vale wine region lies, Family First MP Robert Brokenshire says.
Premier Mike Rann has suggested his Labor government is thinking about legislated protection for both McLaren Vale and the Barossa Valley but no legislation has seen the light of day, Mr Brokenshire said.
The MP introduced a bill in the upper house to protect the Willunga basin, based on a model used to protect the Swan Valley wine region outside Perth.
