Meanwhile, a bill allowing North Dakota Grape Growers to distribute wine free of whole salers passes the house.
State Grape and Wine Committee Chairman Rod Ballinger says the bill will open up the free market to wine makers by allowing wineries to distribute on a small scale to retailers and distribute to whole salers. Ballinger says there are currently 8 Wineries in the state and many more home growers hoping to expand their buisness.
