Chile Wine Maker Concha Y Toro Adds Beer To Its Repertoire

SANTIAGO - Chile's biggest wine producer and exporter, Vina Concha Y Toro SA, will enter the beer market with its agreement to purchase at least 40% of local beer maker Cerveceria Kross. "The objective will be to participate actively in the premium segment of the national beer market... This segment is having the greatest growth potential in the domestic market, very much in line with international consumer trends," Concha Y Toro said in a statement.
