US parent to sell Constellation's Oz and UK wine business

CONSTELLATION Wines' Australian and UK operations could be sold as early as this week, reports say.US-based Constellation Brands Inc, owner of Hardy, Leasingham and Banrock Station brands, will offload the poor-performing division for between $US300 million and $US400 million, a report in the Wall Street Journal said.Market researchers said persistent rumours had been fortified by the Journal report.
