South African Wine-Grape Harvest Forecast to Rise 7.3%

(Bloomberg) -- South Africa’s wine-grape crop should amount to 1.35 million metric tons in 2011, a 7.3 percent increase on this year, South African Wine Industry Information & Systems said.Wine stocks held by producers and in private cellars will increase to 393.4 million liters (103.8 million gallons) at the end of 2011 from 348.8 million liters at the end of this year, according to a report that the Western Cape province-based industry body sent today by e-mail.
