Since its launch in December 2008, Norwich-based Naked Wines, has gone on to help 22 independent winemakers set up and create 85 new wines. This year it will have sold two million bottles of wine to some 100,000 online customers and it is on track to meet growth plans of increasing turnover from £4m to £9m next year.
