It could spell good news for the our Local Ontario South Coast Wine Organization.... The federal government is pouring almost half a million dollars into Canada's wine industry. More than 200-thousand dollars will go towards boosting exports to new international markets. There's also money to upgrade food safety standards for wine producers. Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz says the government is also looking at revising a law that's restricted inter-provincial wine shipping since 1928.
