Booth Bella Oaks has purchased the historic, 18-acre Bella Oaks Vineyard in Rutherford.
Originally planted by Barney and Belle Rhodes in 1973, grapes from this Rutherford Bench vineyard have been used for the production of the Heitz Bella Oaks vineyard-designated wines. The 2007 vintage will be the last vintage of this wine from Heitz Cellars.
Booth Bella Oaks, a partnership between David and Suzanne Booth and their children, Erin and Chandler Booth, has entered into an agreement with Garen and Shari Staglin of Staglin Family Vineyard to produce a Bella Oaks vineyard-designated wine, beginning with the 2011 vintage.
