GRANDVIEW -- Twenty years later, wine is still good for you.
That's what a leading health researcher told Washington's grape growers at an industry meeting Friday. Using a mixture of caution, humor and societal criticism, Dr. R. Curtis Ellison told growers, field workers, processing employees and others at the Washington State Grape Society's 39th annual meeting that he is even more sure now than he was 20 years ago -- moderate, routine consumption of alcohol, especially red wine, is good for your heart.
