Some South Australian wine grape growing regions have been ignoring industry pleas to produce fewer grapes.The South Australian Phylloxera Board's 2010 vintage report, found overall tonnages in the state were down, but some areas like the Barossa and Adelaide Hills actually produced more than in previous years.Chief executive of the board, Allan Nankivell, says while the Riverland has pulled 16 per cent of its vines, the state has a lot more hectares still to clear, to overcome the wine glut.
