Concha y Toro Increases the Most in Three Weeks as Wine Exports Jump 17%

Vina Concha y Toro SA, Chile’s largest wine exporter, rose the most in three weeks as Chilean bottled wine exports rose 17 percent in July from last year.Concha y Toro gained 1.8 percent to 1,215 pesos at 12:49 p.m. New York time, after rising as much as 2.2 percent, the most since Aug. 13. The IPSA index fell 0.5 percent to 4,609.16. Bottled wine exports from Chile grew 17 percent from a year ago in volume, and 19 percent in value in July, to 41 million liters and $123 million, respectively, wine makers association Vinas de Chile reported in a press release distributed yesterday. In the last 12 months, exports reached 749 million liters and a record $1.48 billion, the association said.
