Australians are developing a taste for high-end European wine as prices plunge by more than 10 per cent.Official statistics show the price of imported table wine from around the globe fell by more than a dollar per litre, or about 13 per cent, in the year to March."The strength of the Australian dollar has pushed down the price of imported goods and provided a range of Chilean, Argentinian, French and Italian wine on our markets," CommSec chief economist Craig James told AAP.
